Glaslough Development Association

Glaslough Development Association (GDA) is a long established voluntary organisation which was formed back in 1977 and is located in County Monaghan, Ireland. Its primary responsibility is the management of Oakland Community Centre in Glaslough and also overseeing the tidy town’s campaign along with many other community projects involving FAS and many other local groups which it assists. It has very close links with a number of other community based groups in the area such as Glaslough Musical Society, Glaslough Harriers Athletics Club, Glaslough Villa F.C., and Glaslough Tidy Towns.


GDA runs a variety of social functions throughout the year for the people of the area including the annual OAP Christmas dinner party, New Years Eve Balls, Children’s Christmas and Halloween parties. It has a population of about 700 people.
